5.1 Fee Subsidy

POLICY

The Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB is accountable for the consolidated regular child care fee subsidy and Ontario Works child care fee subsidy dollars. 

The Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB may provide child care fee subsidies to parents who are financially eligible, as determined by the Income Test.

In the case of Ontario Works participants, the Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB may provide child care fee subsidies or Ontario Works child care.

To be eligible for Ontario works child care, parents must be participating in recognized activities or have an identified requirement through social needs.
