MISSION STATEMENT
The Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB is committed to working closely with all stakeholders to improve quality and accessibility of child and family services throughout the district. Our commitment is to invest in a professional, affordable, and accountable child care system that promotes social and economic growth. By supporting inclusivity and quality, we strive to offer every child a safe, welcoming and supportive environment at the beginning of their learning journey which benefits children, parents, caregivers, and the entire community.
PHILOSOPHY
- We believe that Child Care and Early Years Services be provided fairly and sensitively to people within the Districts of Manitoulin and
- We believe in an affordable and effective system of community and social services that support and invest in a service system in which children are safe and people most in need receive
- We believe that individuals, families and communities have a responsibility to provide for
- We believe that resources are targeted to programs and services that are proven to be effective and
- We believe that services are community-based, integrated, and based on clear roles and
- We believe that quality Child Care, Early Years services and access to Fee Subsidy form essential support services for individuals seeking independence.
