Subject: Regulatory Compliance for Employment | Policy No. G.6.7. |
To ensure that personnel deployed with Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB Paramedic Services remain in compliance with legislative requirements throughout their employ.
Paramedics and Paramedic Superintendents shall maintain regulatory and organizational compliance with all prescribed legislation and policies including, but not limited to:
A valid Driver’s License that allows operation of a Paramedic Services vehicle, and
Compliance with the Provincial Communicable Disease Standards, and
Compliance with Ontario regulation 257, Part III with respect to Qualifications of Emergency Medical Attendant and Paramedics, and
Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB Policy C.1.16, requiring all Paramedic Services personnel to obtain a Vulnerable Sector search minimally each five years, in advance of issuance of a new MOHLTC EHS-B ID card, and
Any other requirements deemed through addendum or amendment necessary.
Each member of the Paramedic Services Department is required by this policy, and by corporate policy to disclose, in advance of any deployment, a change to their status as set out within this directive.
