To outline standard and safe process for utilization of the Stryker MX Pro Stretcher
Rationale for use
The Stryker MX Pro (manual) is a patient handling device designed for use by a minimum of (2) two trained operators in Manitoulin-Sudbury DSB ambulances.
The MX pro stretcher weights 81 pounds (36 Kg) is designed for roll-in loading feature with a maximum weight capacity of 650 pounds (295 Kg).

Cleaning
The stretcher is subject to scheduled preventative maintenance and cleaning following use. The stretcher should be cleaned in accordance with the Disinfection of Vehicle and Patient Care Equipment Policy and Procedure G.3.4.2022
