The Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board says a new CAO has been appointed to oversee the administration of social services in the Manitoulin and Sudbury districts.
Chair Bruce Killah says with the retirement of Fern Dominelli the board has appointed Donna Stewart to the role effective September 1st.
Killah says Stewart has worked for the organization for 22 years, starting her career as front-line staff.
He says her proven ability to foster relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders will help continue the legacy of engagement and will ensure moving ahead on upcoming projects and initiatives.
Killah adds Stewart holds a Degree in Sociology from Laurentian University and has recently completed the Public Sector Executive Leadership Institute Program.
