One of the many challenges faced by the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Services Board is technical support for 12 Paramedic Services stations, 5 Ontario Works Offices, as well as supporting connectivity for over 120 paramedics, child care agencies, 18 member municipalities, 14 board members and the general public. We have added a remote assistance system that will enable us to resolve simple PC issues over the Internet, and we continue to work in the background to improve and strengthen the information systems structure of the DSB. This includes networks, telephony and more.

Currently, the DSB has two people in the Information Systems/Technical Support role.
